北京大学生命科学学院教授，博士，博士生导师。国家杰出青年科学基金项目资助者。1997年毕业于北京大学心理学系，2003年获McGill大学博士学位。长期从事神经退行性疾病，特别是阿尔茨海默氏症中神经元凋亡及淀粉样沉积的代谢途径的研究工作，有关成果在Neuron、 PNAS、ProgNeurobiol、Nat Protocol、J Cell Biol、NeurosciBiobehav Rev、J Neurosci、Cell Death Differ、JACS等期刊发表，被引用1000多篇次。目前担任中国阿尔茨海默病防治协会理事，《Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews》、《International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology》等期刊编委。
